Recording Calls

 

When a call comes through to you, a data screen will appear. You can ignore the left-hand side of this screen. There's a vertical divider in the middle of the screen that you can drag over to make more room on the right-hand side of the screen.

For each call, enter as much information as appropriate on the right-hand side of the screen. Sometimes you'll get just their first name. If they make a significant decision for Christ and need additional follow-up, be sure to get their full address.

For salvation decisions, Need Him staff send a small packet of new-believer material to the caller, stressing the importance of finding a friendly, Bible-centered church. With the caller's permission, Need Him also forwards their contact information to a pastoral representative in their area for additional follow-up.

Please Note: For salvation follow-up, be sure to ask if it's okay "to be contacted by a local Need Him representative," and mark the box accordingly. We cannot guarantee this service, but we do need their permission.

Enter "Comments" as appropriate, especially if you suspect the person may call again. Every call requires a "Result" - select whichever option you feel best describes the call.

If the data needs to be brought to Administration's attention for follow-up or any other reason, simply mark the box labelled "Staff Attention Needed." (All salvation calls are automatically reviewed by Need Him staff.)

Click BOTH the "Save" button, and then click the "Mark Done" button on the left-hand side. Be sure to change your status back to "Ready" or you will not get any more calls.
